John Mitchell Sydow focuses on defending clients in matters of civil litigation with an emphasis on personal injury, premises liability, professional negligence, and property damage. John obtained a Bachelor of Arts in both History and Theology from Saint Louis University in 2016. In 2022, he obtained a Juris Doctorate from St. Mary’s University School of Law. While attending Law School, John clerked for both the Bexar County District Attorney’s Office (Civil Rights Div.) and Goldstein & Orr, a prominent criminal law defense firm. John served as Secretary on the Board of Advocates which runs the 12th highest nationally ranked advocacy program in the United States. John also served as both an advocate and a student-coach on the nationally ranked Mock Trial Team winning a National Championship. Because of his service and work ethic while in law school, John received: The Litigation & Advocacy Award, The Spirit of Advocacy Award, and the St. Thomas More Leadership Award. In 2022, John joined Valdez & Trevino, P.C. where he continues to both serve and zealously advocate for his clients. |
