Emma was born and raised in Birmingham, Alabama. She graduated from the University of Mississippi in 2017 with a dual bachelor’s degree in History and English. After graduation, she continued her education at the Washington & Lee University School of Law in Lexington, Virginia, where she graduated in 2020. While at Washington & Lee, she was an active member of the Moot Court Board and mock trial team. After passing the bar exam, Emma began her legal career as a felony prosecutor in Del Rio, Texas, where she gained invaluable experience in the courtroom. She continued her career as a litigator in Houston prior to joining the team at Valdez & Trevino in San Antonio.

Emma is dually licensed in Texas and Colorado. Outside of work, she enjoys reading, gaming, exploring the San Antonio food scene, and spending time with her chocolate lab, Obi.
