Proud to share that our partner, Jose “JJ” Treviño Jr., was a featured speaker at the 21st Annual Soaking Up Some CLE: A South Texas Litigation Course, hosted by TexasBarCLE at the Margaritaville Beach Resort on South Padre Island. 

JJ presented “Successful Use of AI: A Defense Perspective,” addressing how defense attorneys can leverage artificial intelligence ethically and effectively, from understanding the technology and its limitations to implementing the guardrails every firm needs to protect clients and comply with evolving ethics rules.

As AI reshapes the practice of law, Valdez & Treviño remains committed to staying at the forefront, not just adopting new tools, but understanding when and how to use them responsibly.

We’re excited to announce that Jenna S. Ard has become an equity partner at Valdez & Treviño Attorneys at Law.

Jenna’s legal career is marked by a deep commitment to litigation and advocacy. She earned her undergraduate degree from Loyola University New Orleans and went on to complete her Juris Doctor with additional civil and comparative law coursework in Europe. Since joining the firm, Jenna has focused her practice on defending personal injury matters involving motor vehicle collisions, premises liability, offshore casualties, and complex disputes including oil and gas contractual and professional liability cases. She has also taken multiple cases on appeal, securing favorable outcomes for clients.

Her thoughtful approach to defense strategy and strong courtroom experience strengthen our firm’s ability to serve clients facing challenging civil litigation. We look forward to her leadership and continued contributions as a partner.
