Big Win in Jim Hogg County

We achieved summary judgment for our client in Jim Hogg County, a traditionally plaintiff-friendly venue south of San Antonio. Plaintiff filed suit against our client alleging theories of negligent activity, premises liability, and gross negligence. Plaintiff made a policy limits demand against our client, a prominent nationwide commercial retailer, alleging she suffered injuries resulting in permanent physical and mental impairment and disfigurement. We moved for dismissal as a matter of law, and the Court agreed dismissing Plaintiff’s claims with prejudice.
