Stephen is an experienced trial attorney in medical malpractice, federal law enforcement, sexual harassment, civil rights (Title VII), Fair Labor Standards Act, Federal Arbitrations, family law, contracts, probate, criminal defense, landlord/ tenant law, civil service law, labor and employment law, and administrative law.

 

Stephen has been Sole Counsel for $3.2 million dollar award against U.S. Department of Justice (Bureau of Prisons, FCI Greenville) Portal to Portal decision  in 2010 (FLSA) and Sole counsel for  $8.5 million award  against U.S. Department of Justice (Bureau of Prisons, FCC Beaumont), Portal-to-Portal decision in 2009 (FLSA).

 

Stephen enjoys challenging himself by going to National Parks and Forests for moderate to difficult hikes and climbs. He is a licensed scuba diver and goes to the Caribbean for scuba trips.  He enjoys art and classical music and enjoys going to the San Antonio Symphony.
