Alex was born in San Antonio, Texas, and lived in different places until finally making San Antonio home after graduating from the University of Texas at San Antonio with a Bachelor of Arts degree in History in 2011. Alex then taught US History and Texas History in public schools around San Antonio before graduating from St. Mary’s University School of Law in 2024.

After moving from education to the legal field Alex clerked in-house for a mid-major regional insurance company and practiced both family law and personal injury before joining Valdez & Trevino.
