Professional Experience & Affiliation​

Mr. Karl is a trial lawyer. His practice focuses on complex tort and commercial cases in areas involving catastrophic personal injuries and property losses. He represents businesses of all sizes and from numerous industries.

After graduating with degree in English from the University of Texas at Austin, Mr. Karl earned his law degree from St. Mary’s University. While in law school, he worked as a judicial intern for the Honorable Justice Paul W. Green of the Texas Supreme Court. Mr. Karl began his legal career at Bexar County District Attorney’s Office where he obtained extensive jury trial experience. He left the District Attorney’s Office to accept the position of briefing attorney with the Honorable Justice Jason K. Pulliam at the San Antonio Court of Appeals. Mr. Karl uses his appellate and courtroom to provide his clients with creative and effective strategies to litigate efficiently, limit exposure, and maximize results.

Mr. Karl has received various professional recognitions including Best San Antonio Lawyers from S.A. Scene. Mr. Karl was also recognized for his work trying one of the first “virtual” trials in Bexar County.
