Ms. Ard obtained her undergraduate degree from Loyola University New Orleans where she was a member of the highly competitive Jesuit Social Justice Scholars program. Upon graduation, Ms. Ard matriculated to Loyola University’s School of Law, where she obtained her Juris Doctor degree, in addition to completing coursework in civil law at the Universität Wien in Austria, and comparative international law in Belgium, France, and Luxembourg.

After graduating from law school, Ms. Ard worked as an associate for a well-known boutique insurance defense firm in New Orleans where she gained extensive experience litigating civil cases in state and federal court. Since that time, her practice has focused on the defense of personal injury cases involving motor vehicle collisions, premises liability, and offshore casualties. Ms. Ard is also experienced in litigating oil and gas contractual disputes, and cases related to professional liability. During her work on these types of cases, Ms. Ard has had the opportunity to take multiple cases up on appeal and has obtained favorable rulings on behalf of her clients in those proceedings. Though Ms. Ard has recently moved to San Antonio and is actively forging her way into our community, she maintains ties to her hometown as a proud member of the King Arthur Mardi Gras Krewe.
